Richard is a Cyber Business Adviser. He drafts insurance policy forms of varying types, including those covering cyber/privacy/technology risks and exposures, and serve as an expert consultant on cyber insurance matters involving the historical existence and scope of cyber insurance products.He litigates and counsels U.S. and international insurers and corporations on cyber, privacy and technology, directors’ and officers’ liability, professional liability, insurance coverage, products liability, and commercial litigation matters. In 2015, Richard was voted Advisen’s Cyber Risk Champion of the Year and sits on the Executive Corporate Board of the Franklin Institute science museum.Richard is a Co-Chair of the American Bar Association’s Computer & Technology Subcommittee of the Section of Litigation, Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee, Managing Editor of the ABA’s Coverage magazine, and Editor, Intellectual Property Hot Topics, for the ABA Section of Litigation, Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee.He received a Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, from Boston University in 1981. In 1985, Richard graduated cum laude from the Villanova University School of Law. Richard is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey, and am admitted in the Supreme Court of the United States as well as the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the First, Third and Eleventh Circuits and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, District of New Jersey, Eastern District of Wisconsin, and Western District of Michigan.
